Giovanni is Italian-born with more than 20 years’ experience in the coffee industry. His extensive career and ‘bean to cup’ knowledge has led to Giovanni’s industry title: coffee specialist.
It was inevitable that Giovanni would choose to craft his own unique coffee blends. His creative journey was inspired by his Italian heritage and traditional artistry, superior coffee skills and his resolute passion for exceptional coffee.
Giovanni sources green coffee beans from several Estate growers in six of the principal coffee-producing regions of the tropics. Our 100% premium Arabica beans are selected for being speciality grade, hand-picked and fairly traded.
Next, the roasting process of each distinct bean variety or combination is a delicate step-by-step exploration.
This stage is guided by skill, knowledge and passion. Giovanni coaxes out exceptional flavours as beans are roasted by hand in small batches at low temperatures over a longer time. Our complex and consistent blends were crafted alongside an artisan roaster in the Okanagan Valley, BC. For several months various taste profiles were explored and refined uuntil the perfect blends were achieved: a taste of Italy in every cup!
